despite of being tired of waiting for our highness korn's turn to show up for the first time in malaysian history after 15 years it was all brutally awesome i must say.

i started my wait in the front row an hour before they came up, eventhough the pit was so cramped up and the air was polluted by all the bad odours of those drunken assholes' pukes.

N.E.R.D. was performing their last tune for the night (they were on the other stage which was beside the stage where korn performed. they were awesome too) and that definitely boosted my adrenaline, top!.

first, ray luzier came up, i was hoping for david silveria actually, but it's alright, you have blessings ray. soon after my man fieldy arrived, striking his fat basslines, then munky looking very excited and overwhelmed, finally, my idol jonathan davis wearing his black plain kilt, unfortunately they failed to bring along his h.r. giger mic stand due to flight restrictions.

jon apologized to malaysians that night for taking 15 friggin years to come and was so surprised to see the number of fans they have here.

three words, FA.BU.LOUS!. it was most definitely the best show ever performed by the gods of american metal.

all started off when i stumbled upon a local site spreading words about LOG coming over to our neighbouring turf for their asian bang, i just couldn't believe what i saw at first but yup..yup..there goes the monkeyman flipping with joy soon after.

i managed to get a couple of friends to tag along (agus rafiz and azizi), booked our flight tickets and left for jakarta in the morning of march 9.

we safely touched down at around 11am, the place was beautiful and huge but it's quite overcrowded with the locals busy with their tradings, mopeds (lot and lots of them), buses and bajaj (auto rickshaws) during the day. but let's just cut things short, we toured jakarta before the show which was expected to start at 8pm, thanks to dearest kak mei, kak nisa and ecaa for taking us around. (eventhough most of our time spent on being trapped in the heavy traffic jam.)
